Many of the sources in this document were incomplete or incorrectly cited in Chicago style. To solve this problem, I spent a large amount of time conducting thorough online research to find the sources and left respectful queries for the author. Through online research and referencing the Chicago Manual of Style, I ensured that the citations were complete and correctly formatted. The first sample is formatted in Chicago's author-date style, and the second is notes and bibliography style.

I was awarded a grant from the Michigan State College of Arts and Letters to research methods for engaging young writers through social media in order to increase attendance at the annual MSU Young Authors Conference. After five months of researching subjects such as the brain, attention span, and successful social media campaigns, I presented my research in the form of this poster at the University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum at MSU, where I received positive responses to my visual aid and verbal pitch from the judges.
